Title
Letter from Lord John Russell to Queen Victoria
Date
11 June 1850

Russell, John, Lord

Victoria, Queen
Description
Russell has seen the Lord Chancellor, and it seems there is no need of the Great Seal being put in Commission this week, as the Court of Chancery does not sit from Wednesday till the following Wednesday. The Great Seal should be sealed in Council. Hence the Lord Chancellor should wait on Queen Victoria to deliver the Great Seal, and a Council follow immediately.
