DescriptionDerby has only one applicant, and submits Reverend Thomas Crossman for Belmont District Church in Durham. The Bishop of Durham approves. No formal resignation of a small living in the Forest of Dean has yet taken place, and therefore no appointment made, although it has been practically vacant 3 months. Mr Walpole will acquaint Queen Victoria with circumstances of appointments which pass through his hands.
