Description
Sir J. Pakington gave to the Cabinet his views for the settlement and future Government of the Cape of Good Hope after the Cape Frontier War. The Cabinet decided to request the opinion of the Governor before advising Queen Victoria. Sir J. Pakington sends copies of a despatch and a private letter to General Cathcart at the Cape.
