DescriptionLord Aberdeen's wish, and also Queen Victoria's, for the Honourable Reverend Gerald V. Wellesley to have the Deanery of Windsor (St George's), but Lord John Russell will expect it to be offered to Lord Wriothesley Russell. The latter is not, however, likely to wish to give up his Living. If Lord Wriothesley Russell should accept the Deanery of Windsor, Mr Wellesley might be offered the Canonry (of Windsor) and retain his Chaplaincy.
