DescriptionLord Aberdeen's reply to Queen Victoria concerning the visit of Henri, Comte de Chambord, to England. His satisfaction at the lack of reference in Duc d' Aumale's letter to a proposed visit between the Princes. Suggested attitude of Her Majesty to prevent their meeting in this country. No necessity for change to be made in Her Majesty's custom of seeing them. Lord Aberdeen's reply to Queen Victoria about Press articles relating to Prince Albert, including articles believed to have been authored by Mr Gladstone (in "The Chronicle") and by Mr Alex Hope. Sir Robert Peel, 3rd Baronet, is expected to raise the question of Press attacks on Prince Albert in the House of Commons - 'He is half mad'. The reason for Thomas Slingsby Duncombe's refusal to raise the question of Press attacks on Prince Albert in Parliament.
