Lord Aberdeen to Queen Victoria enclosing an extract from a letter written by the Duchesse d'Orleans and Her Majesty's answer. Its strict conformity with fabricated letter. His satisfaction at contradiction of visit of Comte de Chambord. Lord Aberdeen on Mr Delane's explanation (enclosed) of having noticed the scandals against Prince Albert, in spite of having almost pledged himself not to do so. His view of the present situation.
