Description
Lord Aberdeen details the subjects to be discussed in the ensuing Session, with a spirit of conciliation and good will. Cabinet discussions on the following: a scheme for extended education, to combine religious with secular instruction (which Lord John Russell will announce at the Opening of the Session); law reforms the Lord Chancellor is preparing to introduce; Navy estimates and distribution at home and abroad (final decision for estimates to be of the same degree as the French and no difficulty anticipated on the increase of estimates for the home force).
