Letter from Mr John T. Delane of "The Times", to Mr N. Macdonald, acknowledging 'the admirable feeling' shown by Queen Victoria in the distribution of honours and promising to endeavour to do it justice (forwarded by the latter to Sir C. Phipps). Mr Delane's view of Lord Raglan's (Fitzroy James Henry, 1st Baron Raglan) qualities. Comment by Mr N. Macdonald.
