Description
Complaint in the House of Commons about the absence of the Secretary of State for the Colonies, owing to Lord J. Russell's being abroad. Lord Palmerston's reply. Mr. Wilson's difficulty in becoming Vice-President of the Board of Trade, owing to the danger of losing his seat. The possibility of finding a seat at Liverpool. Mr J. Hudson recommended for a Companionship of the Order of Bath (C.B.).
