Description
Lord Palmerston's renewal of his request for a Viscounty for Lord William, 11th Baron Ward (after 1st Earl of Dudley). Grounds for urging it. The desirability of appointing a day of national prayer and humiliation for the Indian 'Mutiny'. A Council required. Suggestion as to dispensing with the attendance of the Archbishop of Canterbury, usual on such occasions.
