Description
Lord Palmerston further as to numbers to be recruited to the Army. Lord Eversley (Sir Charles Shaw Lefevre, 1st and last Viscount Eversley) proposed as Governor of the Isle of Wight, on the resignation of Lord Heytesbury (Sir William A'Court, 1st Baron Heytesbury). Impossibility of incorporating the post with the Lord Lieutenancy of Hampshire, without an Act of Parliament. The latter's functions in the Island.
