Lord Palmerston's submission of a proposal for an application to Parliament for a pension of £1000 p.a. to accompany Sir Henry Havelock's baronetcy. Mrs J.G. Smith Neill (Isabella, after Lady) to be allowed to use title of "Lady", which would have been hers by her husband's (Brigadier General James George Smith Neill) appointment as Knight Commander (K.C.B.), had he survived. Major General Sir Archdale Wilson to be granted a pension of £1000 p.a., to accompany his Baronetcy, by the East India Company.
