Letter from Queen Victoria to Lord John Russell
Date
10 April 1848
Writer
Victoria, Queen
Addressee
Russell, John, Lord
Description
The account of Feargus O'Connor [Irish Chartist Leader] in Lord John's last letter [presumably] is most amusing. Queen Victoria trusts that there will be no disturbance tonight or tomorrow. The Queen forwards a letter from her uncle [the King of the Belgians] and thinks he may indeed be proud of his subjects.
