Description
Another letter from the Queen of Portugal (Maria II). Queen Victoria's anxiety for the Queen's safety. Henry Temple, 3rd Viscount Palmerston, held the report of a revolution very cheaply. Queen Victoria fears that he will not be sorry for the difficulties of the Portuguese. Queen Victoria thinks his draft very ungenerous in pressing our claims under the present circumstances. She hopes that they will not be sent by this mail.
