DescriptionWith regard to the Great Exhibition, Queen Victoria says that the day is a proud and happy one: first to see her husband's success in spite of opposition (but not the Country, who appreciated the plan from the beginning). Secondly Queen Victoria is proud of her Country and the loyalty of the people which she ever relies on. This first of May will ever be memorable in the history of the Country.
