DescriptionQueen Victoria has communicated the result of researches relative to Royal Peerages, and proposes that Prince George (of Cambridge) be made a Peer, as Earl of Tipperary. Culloden would never do for a Royal Prince because of painful recollections. Prince George does not wish to change his appellation, but to refuse would be a slight to the Irish. Lord JohnRussell must take steps to have the Patent made out.
