DescriptionQueen Victoria is anxious about the Schleswig Holstein question. The Queen sends Lord John Russell a copy of her last letter to Lord Palmerston about it. The Queen writes that Palmerston gets his way by bullying; but when that by accident fails, he leaves the failing one in a disagreeable position. Queen Victoria does not believe in resignation under almost any circumstances.
