Description
With regard to the Ministerial Crisis, Queen Victoria says that Stanley (Edward Stanley, Baron Stanley of Alderley) will send Lord John Russell a copy of the letter. Stanley wishes it not to be known that he undertakes to form a Government till tomorrow. He feels the difficulty of his position. He is not sure that he can form a Minstry. He will give a positive answer tomorrow.
