DescriptionQueen Victoria's remarks on a letter regarding "Pimlico". If the plan which was laid before Parliament had been adopted, there would have been a street leading straight to the middle of the town. With regard to a Thanksgiving Day, the Queen says that if it is to take place at all, it should be at the end of the Exhibition; but hopes that between this and the end of August it will be forgotten.
