DescriptionQueen Victoria approves Granville (Granville Leveson-Gower, 2nd Earl Granville) and Seymour (Edward Adolphus Seymour, Lord Seymour and later 12th Duke of Somerset) being added to the Cabinet, having a high opinion of both. It was long the Queen's wish for Granville to be added to the Cabinet. With regard to Crown Property and Money in Hand, Queen Victoria wishes to know the amount of money in hand from the many portions of Crown Property sold. The sale at Limerick was sanctioned. The Queen approves of Dr. James Adey Ogle as Professor of Medicine at Oxford University.
