DescriptionA Te Deum is to be at Paris for the success of the Coup d'Etat, and the Corps Diplomatique are to be present. Queen Victoria hopes that Constantine Phipps, 1st Marquess of Normanby [Ambassador to Paris] will not be allowed to go. Otherwise Henry Temple, 3rd Viscount Palmerston might well complain that his action was personal,while this is official. Queen Victoria's gratification at the satisfactory settlement of the Foreign Secretary question. She will receive Viscount Palmerston to deliver up the Seals and Granville (Granville Leveson-Gower, 2nd Earl Granville) to receive them, on Friday.
