Description
With regard to the Eastern Question, Queen Victoria's anxiety for a united Cabinet at a time of cisis when we may enter on a European War. With regard to the 1854 Reform Bill, Queen Victoria regrets the postponement, but it is wise under the present peculiar circumstances; but demurs to the wisdom of naming a definite date when it is to come on. Queen Victoria is anxious for the Government not to to be beaten on this question. It is not possible to conjecture what the feeling may be after Easter - the War's possible influence on public opinion. Important that the Cabinet should be united.
