Letter from Queen Victoria to Lord John Russell

25 November 1859

Victoria, Queen
Addressee
Russell, John, Lord
Description
Queen Victoria returns the draft to Lord Cowley, and has marked several corrections which are essential if England's position is to be kept distinct from that of the Revolutionary party in Italy. These alterations do not alter the substance of the Draft, so the Queen hopes Lord John will have no difficulty in adopting them. The Queen requests a copy of the final Draft.
