Title
Letter from Queen Victoria to Lord John Russell
Date
11 January 1860
Writer
Victoria, Queen
Addressee
Russell, John, Lord
Description
In Lord John's latest letter the Queen finds no answer to hers, or any allusion to what she had written [see VIC/MAIN/C/11/69] regarding Austria, France and Sardinia's non-interference in Italy. She fails to see the relevance of Lord John's reference to the doctrines of the Revolution of 1688, or why it would necessitate his renunciation of them.
