Description
Queen Victoria on the question of Princess Alice and her husband's place of residence, and that until their own home was ready they would make England their chief residence, merely paying visits to Darmstadt. She reports Prince Louis' undertaking not to take Princess Alice away from the Queen, as she requires her adult daughters to support her.
