Description
Queen Victoria thanks Lord Russell for his reply regarding his papers. She asks him to ascertain what Lord Palmerston has arranged about his papers, fearing they are in 'great confusion'. The Queen sends Lord Russell two books, one of which she has selected as she thinks the poems soothing, and she feels Lady Russell will appreciate them.
