Mr Beckett yesterday who notified him of a rumour in town that the Dr Hampden conspiracy originates from Samuel [Bishop] of Oxford. George Anson also refers to Lord John Russell's objectives in proposing Dr Hampden and the willingness of the Chapter of Hereford to appoint him.
