Description
Draft letter from Prince Albert to Lord Brougham confirming that he will present Mr Owen's memorial to the Queen (see VIC/MAIN/C/56/100). He states that his suggestion of a Commission 'to report upon the theory of Socialism' is unlikely to go ahead. Prince Albert points to France as a 'Monster Commission' to inform the rest of Europe on the outcomes of Socialism.
