Draft letter from Prince Albert to Lord John Russell asking that he determine the real risk of the Prince attending the meeting at Exeter Hall and that General Grey meet with Lord Ashley to talk about the matter. He also states that his attendance would show that the Royal Family 'are not merely living upon the earnings of the people' without caring about the welfare of the labourers.
