DescriptionPrince Albert writes that he is sorry that Dr Kay Shuttleworth has declined the Commander of the Bath (CB) He refers to Mr G Nicholls, Sir H de la Beche and Sir W Hooker, and states that he would like to see scientific men rewarded. He writes that Drs Lindley and Lyon Playfair have done good service but have not been considered for the C.B. He also points out Mr John Lefevre.
