DescriptionLetter from Prince Albert to Lord John Russell stating that he is right to push on with the Papal Aggression Bill in the House of Commons. He also reports that the first day of shilling admission to the Great Exhibition turned out 'the reverse of the what the public prophesised', that the exhibition continues to be a success and mentions progress of an alliance between Russia, Austria and Russia. The Prince adds that he is sorry to hear that Russell's children have measles and hopes they will be better soon.
