1. Letter from Thomas Spring Rice, Chancellor of the Exchequer, to Queen Victoria, on his plan submitted to the House of Commons and his intention to keep the Civil List debt down. He also references William IV's anxiety to avoid debts.
1a. Letter from Thomas Spring Rice to Queen Victoria on rejection of the Civil List by the Select Committee, however states that it will be read for a third time and he expects it to pass then.
