Memorandum on observations on the proposed Regulations for Retired Allowances by the Duke of Norfolk, Master of the Horse. Includes details of the how allowances are allotted and comments on the difficulty of defining emoluments as each case is considered on its own merits. Suggests sums of £800 and £948 for two 'other departments' as being sufficient for the Queen's Bounty to Widows. Also includes a copy of extracts from Acts of Parliament for regulating the Pensions, Compensations and Allowances of those in His Majesty's Service (25 July 1834).
