Letter from Lord Granville to Colonel Charles Grey, enclosing a letter from the Great Western Railway (not present) regarding a decision as to whether the building would be exhibited for a few days the following month for low charges. Granville asks Grey to ascertain whether Prince Albert would like this 'preliminary Exhibition' to go ahead. He also reports on the number of Police likely to be required for the Exhibition and protection of ?inventors.
