Description
Letter from Lord Granville to Sir Charles Beaumont Phipps in reply to his previous letter regarding the opening of the Exhibition of 1862. He reports his own anxiety around the opening ceremony and mentions that 'The Times' have made 'unauthorized and injudicious suggestions'. Granville reports the difficulty surrounding the Exhibition for the Royal Family after the death of Prince Albert.
