Description
Letter from Charles Eastlake to Prince Albert enclosing a printed copy of the Report of the Committee and an extract of minutes from the last meeting. He also suggests that the number of statues for the Victoria Gallery cannot be fixed until the number and dimensions of paintings are finalised. He reports that the wall is now to be 'unbroken like that of Westminster Hall', so the original division of spaces no longer applies.
