Description
Letter from William Cowper to General Grey reporting that he discussed the subject of the Fine Arts Commission with Lord Granville but that no decision has been made. He also reports that at the last meeting of the commission it was suggested by the Lord Stanhope, as chair, that the commission might now close its proceedings. Reports have been completed and a scheme of decoration recommended for all parts of the building. He encloses a copy of the resolution which will be moved by Stanhope at the next meeting (see VIC/MAIN/F/31/109).
