DescriptionLetter from Sir Charles Eastlake to Prince Albert providing updates on the progress of certain artists. He mentions that William Dyce is willing to make alterations suggested by the Prince, that Mr Bailey's statue of Lord Mansfield is ready for casting and inspection, and that Charles Cope has suggested that his fresco be painted on a frame and inserted into the compartment in the Upper Waiting Hall. He also mentions that Mr Armitage is advancing with his fresco and that Mr Theed has completed a bas relief for the Prince's Chamber. Eastlake also reports that a finished copy of the return he had previously sent to the Prince had been submitted to the Home Office.
