Letter from Sir Charles Eastlake to Prince Albert reporting that he had received a letter from the Treasury requesting an estimate for the Fine Arts Commission immediately. As a result, he requests Prince Albert's consideration of the accompanying estimate (see VIC/MAIN/F/31/37). He also mentions that both Cope and Gibson's prices for their work are reasonable.
