Description
A report of the syndicate appointed to draw up an answer to the letter addressed by Lord Palmerston to Prince Albert regarding the University of Cambridge. It includes points on the constitution of the university and the university extension, as well as professorial and other university foundations. It also looks at the syndicates for revising the Statutes, considering studies, increasing lecture rooms and museums, and considering the privileges of the university and its relations with the town.
