Description
Copy letter from Prince Albert to Lord John Russell returning the enclosed papers. He suggests that the Generalship of India may be 'the best thing' for Sir J. Graham and asks that Russell offer Frederick Peel the Under-Secretaryship of State for the Colonies. The Prince also reports that he has shown Lord Grey the letter from Mr Lewis and Russell's memorandum, and that he is in agreement.
