Description
Copy memorandum by Prince Albert regarding Lord Aberdeen's audience with the Queen. He states that Aberdeen reports that Sir Charles Wood, the Duke of Newcastle and Mr Gladstone are anxious that Lord Palmerston should be re-admitted to the Cabinet. They believe that the Government has no chance of continuing with Palmerston in opposition and under the current public mood.
