Description
Memorandum by Prince Albert recording a conversation with Lord Aberdeen regarding Lord Palmerston's belief that on Lord Dering's motion 'that is was inexpedient to proceed further with the Reform Bill on account of the imminence of war'. The Prince writes on the possible outcomes of Lord Palmerston's latest objections and provides some suggestions as how best to proceed. He states that 'It is evident that Lord Palmerston has been playing a deep game all along.'
