Letter from Edward White to Prince Albert reporting on his visit to both the Osborne and Barton estates on the Isle of Wight, and answering questions previously asked by the Prince. He states that Winchester College cannot proceed without the authority of Parliament and provides an estimate as to how much the passing of such an Act may cost, plus his estimate for the cost of the entire estate.
