Description
Minute of Edward White recording details of his interviews with Winchester College authorities. He reports that he conferred with the Warden (Dr. Barton), the stewards and their solicitor (Dr. Ralfe) and suggested that the College may want to take a security for the money payable at the expiration of the existing lease. He also mentions that the price of £16,000 was objected to and that a new sum of £18,500 was decided upon instead.
