DescriptionLetter from Lord John Russell to Prince Albert reporting on Charles Murray's belief that the main difficulties in Egypt were over and that he would be 'glad to go as Minister Plenipotentiary to any part of the Empire'. Russell recommends Mr Buchanan for appointment as Minister to Denmark and suggests that Murray be appointed to Switzerland. He suggests, that if possible, Murray be presented with a stallion and mentions the marriage of [Emperor Napoleon III].
