Prince Albert writes to Queen Victoria of his continued travels around Italy and in particular of his time in Rome. He mentions that he attended a service at St. Peters and comments on the religious ceremonies. Albert also writes of the strong impression Naples had left on him, in particular the sight of Pompeii and surrounding scenery.
