Description
Prince Albert writes to Queen Victoria to let her know of his safe arrival in Calais. He reports that the crossing was rough and that he and those travelling with him were ill. He also writes 'I need not tell you that since we left, all my thoughts have been with you at Windsor, and your image fills my whole soul'. Includes envelope addressed to 'The Queen', with red wax seal.
