DescriptionLetter from Prince Albert to Queen Victoria regarding Lord Melbourne's remarks on Albert's Household and his taking part in political discussion. He mentions that he does not agree with Lord Melbourne's statement that he should not take 'an active part in political questions' but that his opinion should still be considered. Albert also writes again on the subject of his Household stating that he still wishes that it be made up of 'mixed politics' and also says that he 'will not take Mr Anson nor anybody now' in the position of Treasurer. He also writes of his visit to Meiningen and of their plans for their journey to England.
