DescriptionLetter from General Bruce to the Prince Consort reporting on progress of the voyage as they approached Newfoundland. He reports that a severe gale and fog delayed their arrival and that the Prince of Wales suffered sea sickness for the first few days. However they landed safely and he describes the reception they received from the town. He reports that during the evening there would be a dinner held for the Prince, who is well.
